Andrea was born in Florence and grew up between Tuscany and Boston. During his 20s he travelled to every country in Europe. He studied economics and business in Milan and remained there for a few years to work in the finance department of the world largest chocolate producer. The chocolate samples he was taking home after work helped strengthening the relationship with his girlfriend.
He then spent two wonderful years at Northwestern University, few miles North of Chicago, where he earned an MBA. After the coldest winter of his life, he moved to Bangkok. He travelled all-around South-East Asia for a few months, finally came back to Italy and got married with Sandra on a hot summer day. They moved to Rome in a very small flat with a very big terrace overlooking the Colosseum.
He worked in management consulting for 10 years. During this time, he travelled more miles than a flight attendant, worked unreasonably long hours, enjoyed the best restaurants and hotels on the planet. At some point he figured out that there was more to life than powerpoint presentations. He moved to the beautiful island of Sardinia in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea to work in media. He started-up a digital television and a company specialized in advertising services.
One day, looking at the blue sea from the living room’s window, he finally realized what he really wanted to do in life and founded Blue Travel LLC. He moved back to his beloved Florence and thanks to his mixed US-Italian heritage, extensive travel experience and business knowledge, he is now working full time to develop his travel business under the KissFromItaly brand.
He continues to travel to the most beautiful locations in Italy to ensure that Kissfromitaly’s clients will have only the best possible experiences. Visiting wineries in Tuscany, riding yachts on the Amalfi Coast, trying out restaurants with a view in Taormina, are some of the stressful things that he needs to do.
In all his endeavors, he is always supported by the love of his beautiful wife, amazing teen son and Coco, the cutest cat ever.
