With a three-hour drive you will reach the nice and quiet town of Tirano, near the border with Switzerland. Here you will board the iconic Bernina Express, part of the historic Rhaetian Railway built between 1908 and 1910 and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
2-Hour Panoramic Train Ride Through the Alps
Your train journey climbs to 2,253 meters (7,400 ft) above sea level, crossing stone viaducts, spiral bridges, forests, frozen lakes and alpine glaciers.
