Departing from Polignano a Mare or Monopoli, depending on where your selected boat is docked, this experience is ideal for those who value comfort, flexibility, and a deeper connection with the landscape.
The Itinerary: A Full Day Along the Adriatic Coast
Departure & Welcome
Your full-day private boat tour departs from the port where your boat is based: Cala Ponte Marina (3 km north of Polignano a Mare), Porto Antico in Monopoli, or Savelletri.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our staff and introduced to your private English-speaking skipper, who will assist you on board and outline the day’s itinerary. For added convenience, private transfers from your hotel can be arranged upon request (extra cost).
Sailing Along the Coast of Polignano
Once at sea, you will begin cruising along one of the most scenic stretches of the Adriatic coastline. From the comfort of your premium boat, you will admire dramatic cliffs, transparent waters, and iconic sea caves such as Grotta Palazzese, Grotta dei Piccioni (Lovers’ Cave), and Scoglio dell’Eremita. You will also stop at Lama Monachile, Polignano a Mare’s famous beach nestled between towering cliffs and crossed by its characteristic stone arch bridge — a view best appreciated from the water.
Please note that entry into the caves is not permitted with these larger boats, and the exact route is weather and sea-condition dependent. Even so, the experience offers exceptional panoramic views and a more comfortable navigation.
Swimming Stops in Clear Waters
Throughout the day, your skipper will select the best spots for swimming based on sea conditions. One of the highlights is Cala Corvino, an excellent location for a refreshing dip in clear waters, perfect for relaxing and swimming straight from the boat.
In favorable conditions, the itinerary may extend further south to Capitolo, an area known for its particularly clear and beautiful sea. Access here requires very calm conditions due to rocky formations, making it a special bonus when weather allows.
Optional Stop in Monopoli & Lunch
One of the advantages of a full-day tour is the possibility to dock in Monopoli and explore this charming seaside town at your own pace. Stroll through the historic center, browse small boutiques, or relax in a café overlooking the harbor. Lunch in Monopoli is optional and not included, but we are happy to suggest excellent local restaurants and reserve a table on your behalf, allowing you to enjoy authentic Puglian cuisine without stress.
Return to Port
In the afternoon, you will sail back toward your port of embarkation, enjoying a final, unhurried cruise along the coast before disembarking.
