Your private tour will start at Capri’s helipad where you will board your private helicopter (if you wish we can also arrange a private pick-up at your hotel). You will fly over the magnificent island of Capri with panoramic views on its town and beaches while heading towards the coast. During the flight of about 30 minutes over the crystal blue Mediterranean sea you will be able to make amazing photos of the Amalfi coast and mount Vesuvius
. Your private helicopter will then land in Pompeii. Here you will get off and meet your private guide
, officially licensed and with degree in archaeology or art history. Because of the grandiosity and complexity of the archaeological site of Pompeii, a knowledgeable guide is really a must. Your guide will take you through the ruins of Pompeii for about three hours, visiting the most interesting spots where you will learn about the history of this Roman city that was covered in the ashes by the volcanic eruption of mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. You will walk along the paved roads where two thousand years ago the inhabitants of this city used to walk, you will see the shops where they made their trade, go inside the small homes of the average people and the luxurious villas of the wealthy and you will admire frescoes that arrived to us still rich in colors. At the end of the tour you will have time for a lunch break before returning to the helipad for your helicopter flight back
to gorgeous Capri. The flight has a duration of approximately one hour (30 minutes each way) and the total duration of the excursion is approximately 5 hours. This will be a private tour so you will not be part of a group, it will just be you and your party on the private helicopter. For your convenience you may add a private pick-up at your hotel in Capri. You can add this service from the options menu located in the top right section of this page.
In some rare circumstances it is possible that the flight may be cancelled for weather conditions. In that case we will notify you in advance and a full refund will be given.
