Riomaggiore
A short 10-minute train ride brings you to the lovely tiny town of Riomaggiore, the first Cinque Terre village. Together with your guide, discover narrow medieval alleys, dramatic sea views and its famous rocky harbor lined with traditional fishing boats and pastel houses. A perfect first taste of Cinque Terre.
Manarola
With another quick local train ride (6 minutes) you reach Manarola. Surrounded by vineyards and perched on stunning sea cliffs, Manarola is ideal for photos, wine tasting (try the sweet local Sciacchetrà) or shopping for artisanal linen clothing.
Scenic Boat Ride to Vernazza
From Manarola you board a coastal ferry and glide past Corniglia and the dramatic coastline toward Vernazza. The boat ride is really nice and offers great photo opportunities (subject to weather conditions, train ride will be used when the ferry is not running)
Vernazza
Disembark in Vernazza, often named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Together with your private guide explore the harbor, beach, lively piazza, medieval tower and the ancient church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia. Free time for lunch so you can taste the great food and wines of this region – your guide will be happy to recommend excellent local restaurants.
Monterosso
After lunch, a short train ride takes you to Monterosso, the largest town in Cinque Terre. You will discover this lovely village, stroll along the sandy beach lined with bright umbrellas and may even have time for a swim.
Return
At the end of the tour the guide will accompany you back to La Spezia train station or to the cruise terminal in case you are on a cruise. Different drop-off are available on request.

Five Towns
If you wish to have a more complete view, we can extend the duration of the tour so you can be sure of seeing all the five Cinque Terre towns, including Corniglia, the only village not having direct access from the sea. This tour will have a longer duration 8 hours.

Important Notes
- Normally 4 villages are visited, but if you are on a cruise, the tour may include 3 towns instead of 4, depending on port time and ship schedule.
- Ferries operate March 21 – October 31 only (suspended Nov 1 – Mar 20, dates may change).
- Cinque Terre cannot be toured by car – we travel by train and boat.
- Due to uneven terrain and steps, this tour is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations.
- If you are meeting at the port, you may reach the train station either walking (about 15–20 min) or by taxi (about 15 Euro per car, not per person)

How long is the tour from La Spezia to Cinque Terre? - The regular tour is approx. 6 hours, but can be adjusted for cruise passengers with limited time.
Can we visit all five towns in one day? - The regular tour covers 4 villages. If you want to see all 5 towns of Cinque Terre, just select the upgrade with the itinerary extension.
Are train and boat tickets included? - Yes, they are included in the price, all logistics are managed for you (boats run only from March 21 to October 31).
Is this Cinque Terre tour suitable for kids? - Yes – families love it! The boat ride is fun, children can look for the places seen in the movie Luca, and you may even have some beach time. You can use strollers just be aware that there will be some steps and slopes.
Can we add a private boat ride to the tour? - Yes! You can add a 1-hour or 2-hour private boat. It’s ideal for swimming, photos and coastal views.
