Itinerary
Private Driver Pick-Up from Florence
Your day begins with a seamless private driver pick-up directly from your hotel or apartment in Florence (or another agreed location). Travel in comfort in a luxury sedan or minivan toward the Ligurian Riviera.
Meet Your Guide in La Spezia
Upon arrival in La Spezia, you’ll meet your licensed private guide, who will accompany you throughout your Cinque Terre adventure.
Riomaggiore
Reach Riomaggiore with a short 10-minute train ride. Wander through its steep lanes lined with vividly colored houses, explore the small harbor tucked between rugged cliffs, and enjoy unforgettable coastal views. Your guide will reveal Riomaggiore’s maritime history, hidden viewpoints, and the best spots for photos.
Manarola
Travel by train to Manarola, considered one of the most romantic towns in Cinque Terre. Admire terraced vineyards cascading toward the sea, charming alleyways, and panoramic terraces overlooking the turquoise bay.
Via dell"Amore Walk
If you wish, you may choose to walk Via dell’Amore, the famous cliffside path connecting the Riomaggiore to Manarola — an optional highlight offering spectacular seaside scenery
Scenic Boat Ride to Vernazza
From Manarola, board the boat to Vernazza (available April 1–October 31, weather permitting, public service). This is one of the most scenic moments of the day: glide along the coastline with views of multicolored villages perched on the cliffs, the golden vineyards of Manarola, the dramatic promontories around Corniglia, and the sweeping curve of Vernazza’s harbor. If boats are not running, the transfer will be by train.
Vernazza
Arrive in Vernazza, often considered the most picturesque of the five towns. Explore its medieval lanes, the Doria Castle tower, the colorful piazza by the sea, and the charming fishing port. You will have time for lunch in Vernazza, renowned for excellent local cuisine—fresh seafood, anchovies from Monterosso, pesto, focaccia, and Ligurian white wines. Lunch is not included but your guide will be happy to give suggestions and book a table for you.
Monterosso
Take a short train ride to Monterosso, the largest village in the Cinque Terre and famous for its long beaches, lemon trees, and artisan food shops. Stroll through the old town, explore the seafront promenade, and enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Return to Florence
After your visit to Monterosso, your private driver will meet you again and drive you back to Florence (contact us if you need a different drop-off point).
